The trine (samhap) is the best grouping where three branches unite into one energy (Monkey-Rat-Dragon = Water, Tiger-Horse-Dog = Fire, Snake-Rooster-Ox = Metal, Pig-Rabbit-Goat = Wood). The six-harmony (yukhap) is a stable pairing where two branches merge (Rat-Ox, Tiger-Pig, Rabbit-Dog, Dragon-Rooster, Snake-Monkey, Horse-Goat). The clash (chung) is when opposite energies collide, like Rat-Horse or Ox-Goat.
If the result is a clash, is it a bad match?
